Upcoming Events and activities


Bible Study


A six-week Bible study has begun. We are working from the book, HE CHOSE THE NAILS written by Max Lucado. Each week we explore stories of what God did to win your heart. Sessions are held each week on Thursday night 5:30-6:30. The readings will be available the Sunday of each week.


4Th Sunday Fellowship


The 4th Sunday of each month features a food item as part of coffee hour. This month’s item is eggs. (Sunday April 28th)


Ministry to our youth


The Missions Committee teamed up with the Youth Group to raise funds for Rise Against Hunger. THANK YOU to everyone who baked or bought a pie!

The youth group is currently is currently fundraising for Rise Against Hunger. Rise Against Hunger’s meal packaging program is a volunteer-based initiative that coordinates the assembly-line packaging of highly nutritious dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. On Sunday September 8 the youth group will be leading a meal packaging event at the Pomfret Community School in Pomfret Center. Donations are always needed to support this wonderful program. We take this opportunity to say thank you to the many hands that make this program successful. Community Meal

Monday April 22, 2019. This is the Monday after Easter. We start prepping the food at 3:30 and serve at 6 pm. We can always use help at any time during the preparing or serving of the food.
